Overview
The death of her father brings Louisa Laskaratou from Oxford to Athens. His associate and confidant, Petros Spiliopoulos, gives her four cassette tapes with recordings from 1975 and a photo of her grandmother in front of a painting, traces of which were lost during the occupation. The person responsible for the loss of the painting may have been the person responsible for leading her grandmother to the firing squad.
